Description: in Stradivari style; two-piece spruce belly with fine graining, two-piece flame maple back; very good tonewood; varnish in light orange shades; placed equal first at the 1962 International H. Wieniawski Violin Making Competition in Poznań with the instrument of Přemysl Otakar Špidlen (at the time it was the highest prize awarded in the history of Wieniawski competition as in 1957 when the contest was inaugurated First Prize was not awarded)

Measurements: body length 357 mm, upper bout 168 mm, middle bout 108 mm, lower bout 208 mm
