Description: gamba-shaped body; four-string instrument embellished with a carved and burned geometrical and floral ornament; spruce belly, sycamore back; varnish in brown shades on a golden primer; a “jubilee” model made to mark the firm's centenary (1888–1988)

Inscriptions: printed label in a decorative frame reading E. M. Pöllmann / Geigenbaumeister / Spezialist für / Contrabassbau / Anno 19(88) / 8102 Mittenwald/Karwendel [with a crowned lion holding a double bass in the middle]; another similar label reads Jubiläums=Instrument / 1888 = 100 Jahre = 1988; Pöllmann burnt on the pegbox's right side and on the back under the button

Measurements: upper bout 500 mm, middle bout 360 mm, lower bout 710 mm
